we will not go down

A blinding flash of white light
Lit up the sky over Gaza tonight
People running for cover
Not knowing whether they're dead or alive

They came with their tanks and their planes
With ravaging fiery flames
And nothing remains
Just a voice rising up in the smoky haze

We will not go down
In the night, without a fight
You can burn up our mosques and our homes and our schools
But our spirit will never die
We will not go down
In Gaza tonight

Women and children alike
Murdered and massacred night after night
While the so-called leaders of countries afar
Debated on who's wrong or right

But their powerless words were in vain
And the bombs fell down like acid rain
But through the tears and the blood and the pain
You can still hear that voice through the smoky haze

THIS IS ISLAM

In dedication to the innocent victims of cowardice

People of the world

Do you know the truth about Islam

Or do you think it’s about bombing plane and killing innocent people

Forget about the lies

I’m here to tell you how it really is

You deserve to know the truth about this beautiful way or life

People of the world

Islam is all about peace

Terrorism its doesn’t teach

It’s about love, and family and charity and praying to one god

THIS IS ISLAM…

It’s something you should know

I know it’s really helped me grow

It does away with greed, filth, arrogance

And teaches us morality

A perfect way to live

So don’t believe all you see and hear

Too many people wear a title of a Moslem but they don’t practice Islam

And it teaches us the Creator’s made this life for us a test

And if we follow truth and do good deeds, he will reward us in the next

If we remember God and teach each other the truth and patience in His way

Together we can leave, IN PEACE

This is Islam

Allahu Akbar, God is the greatest !!!

Palestine, update news

The violence wreaked by the Israeli army on Palestinians, caused many of them, young and old, to suffer injury, death, and their homes destroyed. Conversely, a number of Palestinian radicals, who promote "violence against violence", have staged suicide attacks targeting the Israeli civilians.

While the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which some have sought to present as more than just a war between two Middle Eastern countries, but as a Jewish-Muslim dispute, rages, Britain's chief rabbi, Professor Jonathan Sacks, caused great controversy with what he stated in an interview with the well-known British daily, The Guardian. In the interview, published in August 27, 2002, Sacks sternly criticized Israel, arguing that the country is adopting a stance "incompatible" with the deepest ideals of Judaism, and that the current conflict with the Palestinians is "corrupting" Israeli society.

Sacks, who became the chief rabbi of Britain's Orthodox Jews in 1991, and who has been the leader of a Jewish community of 280,000 in the country, is known as a loyal supporter of Israel and a veteran who has worked for the establishment of peace in the region. "I regard the current situation as nothing less than tragic… It is forcing Israel into postures that are incompatible in the long run with our deepest ideals" said Sacks. He added that "there are things that happen on a daily basis which make me feel very uncomfortable as a Jew." He went on to say that he was "profoundly shocked" at the recent reports of IDF soldiers smiling while posing for photographs with the corpses of slain Palestinians. 1

The opinion of Sacks, who holds an important position in the Jewish community, helps to clarify the gravity of the situation. Essentially, Israeli soldiers, proud of having massacred an innocent person, though unaware of why they have even killed him, have lost their and humanity and sense of human decency to such an extent that they have posed for photographs besides their victims. The chief Rabbi's denouncement of this savagery in the name of Judaism reminds us an important fact: It is not permitted for either a true Muslim or a true Jew to shed innocent blood. All divine religions forbid violence, war, and unjust murder, and command peace and the helping to those in need. Another Jewish leader and a critic of Israel's policies, American rabbi Dovi Weiss, makes this remarkable comment:

The Jewish people are commanded by Almighty God to live in peace with all peoples and nations on the face of the globe. Our agenda is simple: It is to humbly worship the Creator at all times. As Torah Jews we are called upon to feel and express our sense of compassion when any person or group of human beings suffers. 2

Islam, a religion founded on peace, also forbids oppression and bloodshed, and maintains that those who kill innocent people will be punished with a terrible chastisement. God has informed us that the killing of an innocent person is tantamount to the murder of all mankind:

...if someone kills another person - unless it is in retaliation for someone else or for causing corruption in the earth - it is as if he had murdered all mankind. (Qur'an, 5:32)

In truth, what leads Jews to shed blood is not their religion, but radical Zionism, a racist ideology founded on social-Darwinism. Since the day they came to Palestine, Zionists have made every effort to dispossess Palestinian Muslims and establish their ideal states on their land. In the pursuit of this goal, Zionists have thought themselves justified to wreak misery on all including women and children. In the process, they have misinterpreted certain verses of the Old Testament to suit their purposes, or as the chief rabbi stated, corrupted the religion of Judaism.

Jonathan Sacks also noted that Israelis, who have lived centuries in dispersion, should very well understand the plight of Palestinians:

You cannot ignore a command that is repeated 36 times in the Mosaic books: 'You were exiled in order to know what it feels like to be an exile.' I regard that as one of the core projects of a state that is true to Judaic principle. 3

In the same interview, Sacks also answered the questions about a secret meeting he held in 2000 with Abdullah Javadi-Amoli, one of the highest-ranking clerics of Iran, during a conference of religious leaders, and noted, interestingly:

We established within minutes a common language, because we take certain things very seriously: we take faith seriously, we take texts seriously. It's a particular language that believers share. 4

The chief rabbi Sacks' words are an example of the peaceful dialogue that must be established between Muslims and Jews (and, of course, Christians). All three faiths have enjoined justice, honesty, the rescue of the oppressed, and peace and love. The adherents of all the three faiths believe in God, love the same prophets; there should be no hostility between them.

Muslims and Jews believe in one God, who is the creator of the entire universe and all living things. Although their divine books are different, the adherents of both faiths follow the precepts of their books believing that they are the words of God.

When Muslims, Christians and Jews accept common terms and values, the acts of terrorism and the hostility that has persisted for too long, will come to an end, resulting in a world based on love and peace.

Saya sibuk sekali.
Ujang : memangnya jam brapa kamu kuliah ? kluarnya jam brapa?
Semua orang sibuk, semua orang pasti punya pekerjaan masing-masing.

3 strange ways to improve your English

Why I said it strange ?, it because of not usually ways like wrote in TOEFL book or other English book , I found it by myself. Here the ways :
First, buy unoriginal films or movie. In Indonesia there are many unoriginal film. It’s greater than original film. I’m not mean to broke the law, but it was really help my English. Because if you watch unoriginal film, you will not get the subtitle. So while you watching you have to read to dictionary. It will rich your vocabulary. Not only your listening will improve, but you will also learn how they speak, you know, speaking is one of the most important part in English. So, after you watch a film, remember the word and try to pronounce it. If you don’t have much money, and you are college student, it’s okey, because you still can get the film, and the film that you will get, more than if you use your money. The way to get it is with internet. In Unsyiah and MIPA we have internet connection, so you just have to sit in campus for hours and download the movies or films. I suggest to watch these film, because beside the stories are interesting the pronunciation is good, so it easy to understand what the actors or actress said. They are Alvin and the chipmunks, beautiful mind, journey to the center of the earth, upin dan ipin, vantage point, surf up. You can get the film by download in internet. Just click at the name of the film.
Second, listen to west music. I’m not mean to be a traitor because not suggest to listen Indonesian music, but we have to improve our English, so we can improve our knowledge and we will built this country to the better future. It’s my dream. So if wanna catch your dream, you have to study hard and don’t forget to study smart. This way is one of the way to study smart. After you listen to a song, try to to find out the meaning, so it can rich your vocabulary and don’t forget to practice the words. There are many good songs to listen. Again use the internet connection in your campus to download the song. But if you want to get the original song, please visit music store closest to your home.
Third is try talk to yourself, again its sound strange. But after watching unoriginal films, after listening west song, you have to practice the word that you have remembered, and practice the pronunciation. I used to do it till now. Sometimes if you angry to yourself, because of you did something wrong or you get bad mark and you must feel regret. Positive way to make it better is talk to yourself but in English. Why you did that, or why you weren’t study or why you weren’t think before did that. Talk to yourself, but don’t do it in canteen or market or in a bus, people around you will say, you are insane. And don’t try in bathroom because its impolite but try to talk in the way you go to campus, student usually use their motorcycle to campus. no one will hear your voice while you are riding your motorcycle.
There were my way to improve my ability in English, I just want to share it to you. You should to practice it but if these ways didn’t give any advantage to you, you must try other way in other articles or books. Just never give up !!

Hope the best for you.

Soba-mie, two thumbs up !

When I was in fukui, I stayed in toyoko-inn hotel, near to Fukui eqi (Fukui train station). So every we went to campus and went back we walked along the station. There was a small place like a canteen at one of the corner in the station. The place very unique because there was no chair and table just a cashier. The place is Soba-mie shop.

In one night, in the way came back from campus and went to hotel, our dean wanted to tasted Soba-mie in the station, so we all of the boys joined with him but not the girls, they wanted take a rest in hotel. That was my first experience to tasted Japanese food. It like not strange in my mouth, because you know, I am a man who avid to eat mie, in my hometown I eat every kind of me. So, I was surprise fond my favorite food in Japan. I said to my friends Soba-mie, Oisyi ne and two thumbs up !.

Then, after that night I ask my friends to taste it again in other night. When I stayed in Fukui, I ate Soba-mie about three times. There are some reason why Soba-mie become my favorite food. First, like I said above I love kind of mie. Second, because at that time the temperature in fukui was colder than in Indonesia, so Soba-mie made us warmer. The third is because it cheap, the price only 280 yen for a cup.

If I travel again to Fukui or Japan, I’ll eat it as much as I can. This is my fantastic experience when I was travelled to Japan. I hope my story will give you an information and If you will make a trip to japan, I suggest you to taste soba-mie. Trust me, you will say thank you because of I told you.
